Research on space: from the here to the spaciousness
There is no better abstract of this paper that the title which heads it. This writing tries to philosophize about the question of space, reviewing thoroughly, although certainly incompletely, the process of space building. Then, we begin from the immediate apprehension of the present in here, we pass through the here itself and through the spatial, arriving to the space and ending scrutinizing its structural principle, that X. Zubiri’s philosophy called spaciousness. By now, we conclude –but being open to any further philosophical reflection– that there is no space but multiple spaces, that spaces are structures, that these structures are such as the relationship between spatial things, that each space is dynamic and that if there are multiple dynamic structures constituted by the spatial is due to the presence of a «previous» structural principle that makes them possible.
